Aya Madre Healing Center

Cycle of Transformation Altar Cloth | Round | 9"

Reflecting the flowing rhythms of transformation, balance, and the ever-turning cycles of nature, the four spiraling forms unfold from the center like living currents of water, wind, vines, or smoke weaving together in a harmonious dance that symbolizes movement, growth, and continual renewal.

Inspired by the visionary textile traditions of the Shipibo-Conibo people, the intricate embroidery evokes the energetic patterns believed to connect all life. The spirals suggest expansion and inward reflection at once, reminding us that healing and wisdom often move in cycles rather than straight lines. Each curve and mirrored form carries a sense of fluidity, echoing the rivers and living pulse of the Amazon rainforest.

Earthy greens, deep crimson, luminous blues, and bright orange stitching emerge vividly against the dark background, creating a striking balance between grounded natural tones and radiant energy. The circular composition symbolizes unity, protection, and continuity, while the repeating motifs invite meditation and contemplation.

Ideal for altars, ceremonial settings, meditation spaces, or sacred home décor, this one-of-a-kind textile carries the care, intention, and artistic spirit of its maker in every stitch. Both calming and energizing, it serves as a reminder that life is always in motion  unfolding through cycles of transformation, connection, and return.

Hand-embroidered in the Peruvian Amazon and sourced through the Aya Madre Healing Center near Iquitos, Peru, in support of traditional Shipibo artistry, sacred healing traditions, and the work of the Pangoza family community.
