Serpent of Renewal Altar Cloth | Round | 6"

This cloth carries the ancient symbolism of transformation, protection, and awakened wisdom. At its center, a sacred serpent winds through luminous geometric patterns inspired by the visionary textile traditions of the Shipibo-Conibo people, whose ceremonial art reflects the interconnected rhythms of nature, spirit, and song.

In Amazonian cosmology, the serpent is a guardian of thresholds; a being associated with rebirth, intuition, and the shedding of what no longer serves. The vibrant stitching surrounding the serpent evokes flowing energy and the living patterns perceived in deep communion with the natural world. Each thread is placed by hand, creating a piece that feels both grounded and alive with intention.

Rich jewel tones of emerald, gold, crimson, and obsidian bring balance between earth and spirit, while the circular form symbolizes wholeness, continuity, and protection. Whether used as an altar cloth, ceremonial centerpiece, or sacred decorative object, this piece invites clarity, resilience, and connection into the space it inhabits.

Every cloth is one of a kind, carrying the time, care, and artistic vision of the maker; a tangible expression of Amazonian craftsmanship and sacred storytelling.
